Wow, did I have the strangest dream last night. I think I can't wait for the Nintendo Revolution because of it.

So I was playing a video game right, with a controller that looked kinda like a PS controller but it was square like the NES controller. The game itself seemed like a mix between Sonic and Mario, though Mario wasn't the character you played. It was princess Peach... Anyway, after playing for the game it kept switching (for me) from a first person to a third person. Now, the first person, I was actually IN the game. The third person, I was playing with the controller but I was still in the game, just watching from the sidelines. If anyone came to watch me play, they watched from the sidelines as well.

So the times where it was in first person were mostly the fight scenes. The funny thing is that I still only had the controller in my hand when I was fighting, though most of the time I was just punching anyway. The one time that I was "sword" fighting though, it looked really funny to me because the other character with the sword was hitting air instead of a sword because, of course, I had the controller in my hand.

That's about all I can remember from that dream, it was just hysterically crazy.


On a different note, I'm going to try to finish the 5th book this break, which I can probably do because I'm already half way though it.

There are some things that have happened that inspired me to write this poem. I will have to say that I'm not even initiated yet (for reasons to go unnamed, though some of you might know bits and pieces of the story) and this is truely the way I feel. I had to put my foot down about something because I feel this strongly enough to feel like it should be my own. Hopefully it will be. I think I might title this "What it means" but I'm not sure yet, so at the moment, it's just untitled.

Edit: Here's another note since I should have typed this before so people didn't get confused where this actually came from. I just tied it into what happened in the past few weeks because it's appropriate. I got the original idea for this while I was talking with my boyfriend about how all groups, whether they be sorority/fraternity or just a group of closely knit friends, have their own kind of ritual, and even if you feel left out of groups because they are secretive, well guess what, so are you. Every group has its own ritual or secrets for itself that goes deeper than what anyone else would think. With that, NOW I'm done.

OMFG, she moved out. Wow. We had a hair dying party last night. It was funny! And fun!

Today, April 9, 2005 at approximately 4:00 PM EST. Grumpy P. Bear was found dead in Becht hall of Clarion University in Clarion, PA. Eyewitnesses say right before he jumped he was yelling something about the God damn Care Bear who was replacing him. Medical examination showed his BA level was .937 and cause of death was a combination of falling down the ladder and choking on his own vomit. Upon investigation of the room, it was discovered that he had consumed a bottle of TGI Friday's Mudslide, a bottle of DNA and 2 bottles of Smirnoff Vodka, one empty and the other close to complete consumption. It was also noted the song "Pieces of You" written by the song artist Jewel was on repeat in the room of the death scene. This was ruled a suicide by the police at 6:00 PM EST.

So I had this hysterical post ready to go about Fahernheit 9/11 that my friend and I were conversing about. Of course my comptuer decides it has to flip out and be the piece of SHIT that it is and freeze on me RIGHT before I hit the post entry.

The moral of this story...
Don't use shitty computers when you're doing something mildy important or funny and you must have people see it.
